Clear all
So last weekend I finally tackled my ancient toilet situation. Bought one of those DIY-friendly kits from the hardware store, and honestly, I was bracing myself for disaster, you know? But um, it actually went smoother than expected. Instructions were clear-ish, parts fit together without too much fuss, and no leaks yet (knock on wood). Curious if others had a similar easy experience or did I just get lucky this time?

Had a similar experience last month—thought I'd flood my bathroom for sure. Surprisingly, it was pretty straightforward, but now I'm suspicious...maybe toilets are lulling us into a false sense of DIY confidence?
