Spent the weekend installing one of those tankless water heaters—thought it'd be straightforward, but man, those plumbing diagrams had me scratching my head. Ended up watching a bunch of YouTube vids and winging it a bit. Works great now, but seriously, why do they make those diagrams so complicated? Curious if I'm just bad at reading instructions or if others had the same issue...
Been there myself—those diagrams always seem to be made by someone who's never actually installed the thing. A few things I've noticed from my own projects:
- Manufacturers cram way too much info into one tiny space.
- They assume you're already a plumber or engineer.
- YouTube is honestly the real MVP for DIY projects these days.
