Couldn't agree more. I've had PEX installed for years now, and honestly, mice haven't been an issue—though my cat might claim credit for that. Copper's great, but PEX is just so much easier to work with...especially if you're DIY-ing it.

I've had PEX installed in my place for about 5 years now, and honestly, it's been pretty solid. Had one minor leak early on, but that was totally my fault—didn't crimp the fitting quite right (lesson learned!). Since then, zero issues.
