Last weekend I tried hooking up a solar water heater at home, thinking it'd be pretty straightforward. But um... turns out the plumbing part is trickier than I thought. Anyone else struggled with getting the pipes connected right? Could really use some tips or a good diagram if you've got one handy.

Yeah, the plumbing can definitely trip you up if you're not used to it. When I did mine, the key was making sure I had the right fittingsβcompression fittings saved me a ton of hassle. Also, double-check your pipe sizing; mismatched sizes caused me a headache at first. Did you already figure out how you're handling the insulation around the pipes? That's another spot where things can get tricky...
