Ha, been there. First thing I'd do is sprint to shut off the main water valve—usually in the basement or outside near the meter. Then grab towels, buckets, whatever's handy to minimize damage. Once the chaos is under control, I'd double-check the fittings and seals. Speaking from experience, it's usually a loose connector or forgotten washer. Curious though, anyone ever had trouble locating their main shut-off valve in an emergency...like I did?
