Nice job on that faucet cartridge—it can be deceptively tricky. I've found DIY plumbing manageable when it's something straightforward, but I'm hesitant about bigger issues. Curious if anyone's tackled a water heater replacement solo? Seems intimidating...

Did my own water heater swap last summer, and honestly... wouldn't recommend it unless you're super confident. It's not just the plumbing—you're dealing with gas lines (if it's gas) or electrical wiring, plus safety valves and pressure settings. One wrong move can mean leaks or worse down the line. I get wanting to save money (trust me, I'm all about that), but sometimes paying a pro is cheaper than fixing your own mistakes later.
