Randomly stumbled across this fact today: apparently, the Romans had a system called hypocaust, where they'd heat air under the floors to keep rooms warm. Pretty clever, right? Got me thinking about how far we've come with modern flooring options and heating tech. I've heard ceramic tiles and concrete are great for conducting heat, but wood can be tricky. Wondering if anyone's tried different flooring types with radiant heating and noticed a big difference in comfort or efficiency?
