I've had a couple issues lately where valves in our system started acting up, and honestly it's driving me nuts. Last week, one got stuck halfway open and caused a whole mess...water everywhere, you know how it goes. Anyway, it got me thinking that maybe I'm missing something important in my regular maintenance routine. Usually I just eyeball things every now and then and give 'em a quick turn to make sure they're not frozen or anything, but clearly that's not enough.
I figured some of you probably have way better systems or routines for keeping your valves running smooth and catching problems before they get messy. Do you have any kinda checklist or routine you follow regularly? Or maybe some tips on what to look out for specifically? I'm kinda winging it here and feel like I could use some advice from folks who know better.
