Had a minor plumbing disaster yesterday (yay me, right?) and ended up at the hardware store staring at epoxy putty and fiberglass wrap, totally unsure which one to grab. Ended up going with the epoxy putty cuz it seemed simpler, but now I'm second-guessing myself. Anyone have experience with both? Is one easier or more reliable long-term? Kinda wanna know for next time, you know, just in case...

Epoxy putty's not a bad choice at all—I've used it a few times and it's held up pretty well. Fiberglass wrap can be solid too, but honestly, epoxy's simpler and less messy. You're probably fine, just keep an eye on it for peace of mind...

Totally agree on epoxy putty being simpler—last time I messed with fiberglass wrap, my hands felt itchy for days. Epoxy's pretty forgiving too if you're not exactly a plumbing wizard...just don't ask how I know that.
