Totally agree on the plastic clips—they've worked well for me too. Rubber-lined clamps were even better in my experience, especially in tight spaces. Silicone sleeves seemed promising, but honestly, they were a pain to install neatly...maybe just my clumsy fingers though.

Haha, trust me, it's not just you. I gave silicone sleeves a shot too because they looked like they'd dampen noise really well, but man, lining them up neatly was like wrestling spaghetti. Rubber-lined clamps were my sweet spot—easy enough to handle and pretty effective without breaking the bank. Glad you found something that worked out though; noisy pipes can drive anyone nuts. Nice job sorting it out!

Haha, silicone sleeves are definitely trickier than they look. I've installed plenty of them, and honestly, even with experience, they're still fiddly as heck—it's not just you being clumsy. Rubber-lined clamps are usually my go-to recommendation anyway; they're straightforward, reliable, and less prone to shifting over time. Plus, silicone tends to collect dust and grime after a while...not exactly ideal under your sink. Glad you sorted out the noise though; nothing worse than pipes banging around at 2 am.

Interesting points, but I'm curious—did you notice much difference in noise reduction between silicone sleeves and rubber-lined clamps? I've found silicone can actually absorb vibrations a bit better, even if it's a pain to install. True, they do get grimy over time, but under-sink aesthetics aren't exactly my top priority anyway... I'd probably stick with silicone sleeves if noise was my main issue, despite the hassle factor.
