Haha, flex seal spray... classic. Honestly, plumbing is one of those things where DIY enthusiasm can quickly turn into regret. I've managed plenty of properties, and trust me—it's cheaper in the long run to just call a pro before you're knee-deep in soggy towels and frustration.

Flex seal spray...yeah, I've seen that commercial more times than I'd like to admit. I agree, plumbing can escalate quickly if you're not careful. I've tackled minor leaks myself—always double-checking shut-off valves and connections—but anything beyond basic maintenance makes me nervous. It's smart to recognize when a project might be out of your comfort zone. Better safe (and dry) than sorry, right?

Flex seal has its moments, but honestly, it's more of a temporary fix than anything. Seen plenty of DIY jobs turn into bigger headaches because folks underestimated the problem. Knowing your limits saves money (and sanity) in the long run...trust me.

Flex seal definitely has its place, especially in emergencies or quick fixes, but you're right—it's rarely a permanent solution. I've seen plenty of folks patch leaks temporarily, only to face bigger issues later. Ever had a DIY fix escalate unexpectedly on you?

Haha, more times than I'd like to admit. Once, I tried patching a kitchen sink leak with plumber's putty—thought it was solid enough. Turns out, water pressure had other plans... woke up to a mini flood under the cabinet. Learned quickly that temporary fixes are just that—temporary. Flex seal's handy in a pinch, but for plumbing, it's usually worth biting the bullet and calling in a pro sooner rather than later.
