Did you check YouTube first? Honestly, faucets can be tricky, but usually it's just one or two specialty tools. Next time, maybe post a pic here beforehand—could save you a headache and a weekend under the sink...

Been there myself—faucets can definitely test your patience. Couple quick thoughts:

- YouTube's great, but sometimes glosses over small details that matter (like cartridge orientation or washer sizes).
- Specialty tools like basin wrenches or cartridge pullers can save you serious grief.
- Don't beat yourself up; plumbing DIY always has a learning curve. Next time it'll be way smoother...

Hang in there, you're gaining valuable experience for future fixes.

Been down this road a few times myself, and honestly, specialty tools are a lifesaver. Basin wrench especially—first time around I thought it was gimmicky, but after wrestling under the sink for an hour with regular pliers (and losing my sanity), I gave in and bought one. Best 15 bucks ever spent.

YouTube is handy, sure, but videos always make it look like a breeze. They conveniently skip the part where you're soaked, frustrated, and questioning your life choices under the sink at 11 pm... I've learned more from messing things up once or twice than from any video tutorial.

That said, knowing when to call in a pro is also part of DIY wisdom. If you're at the point of seriously damaging something (or yourself), there's no shame in tapping out. But if it's just frustration and minor setbacks, stick with it—you'll thank yourself next time something leaks or drips.

Yep, basin wrench is key. Also recommend plumber's putty—cheap, easy to handle, and it seals way better than silicone for sink drains. Saved me from a midnight hardware store run more than once...

Basin wrench saved my sanity last weekend, no joke. But gotta say, silicone's not all bad—worked fine for me in a pinch. Still, plumber's putty is def easier to handle...and less messy.
