Will a replacement faucet work with a separate side sprayer?
A faucet can have the right number of mounting holes and still not be set up to use the sink’s existing side sprayer. Before choosing a replacement, how do you confirm whether it has a compatible sprayer outlet or diverter and whether the under-sink hose connections will match?
I’m also curious how you weigh keeping the separate sprayer against switching to a pull-down or pull-out faucet. If the replacement doesn’t support the side sprayer, that leaves its sink hole to deal with. Is there a practical reason to retain the separate sprayer when choosing a faucet, or is it usually simpler to go with an integrated spray head?
