Just found out some places require inspectors to check if toilets flush with a certain amount of water—like, they actually measure it. Seems oddly specific and kinda funny tbh. Wondering if anyone else heard of other quirky plumbing inspection stuff?

Haha, yeah, plumbing inspections can get surprisingly detailed. I remember working on a job once where the inspector actually timed how long it took for hot water to reach the faucet—had to be under a certain number of seconds or we'd fail. Felt a bit over-the-top at first, but honestly, after seeing some of the shortcuts people take... I kinda get it now. Still funny though, the stuff they come up with.
