Last weekend, I finally decided to mess around with the thermostat settings on my heat pump because, you know, winter's creeping in and the house felt kinda chilly. But then, a few hours later, the house felt way warmer than I intended—like, borderline tropical. You're definitely not alone—I went through something similar last winter. Heat pumps can be finicky when you adjust temps frequently. Give it a day or two to settle, and if it's still cycling weirdly, maybe check your manual for recommended settings...worked for me at least.
