Guys, I'm seriously losing my patience here. Every single time it rains even just a little, the yard turns into this muddy swampy mess. I mean, it's not like we live in a marsh or anythingβjust your typical suburban neighborhoodβbut you'd think otherwise looking at our yard. Can't even walk out there without boots and forget letting the dog out, he'll come back looking like he just rolled in chocolate pudding or something.
We did some basic landscaping last year, thinking it'd help with drainage and all that jazz, but nope... still a muddy disaster. I'm starting to wonder if there's some hidden issue underground or something. Maybe some pipes or drainage thingies aren't working right? Honestly clueless at this point.
Does anyone else have this issue with their yard turning into a mini Everglades whenever it sprinkles? Curious if it's just our bad luck or maybe it's a neighborhood-wide problem.
