Okay, so I'm finally getting around to updating the faucets in my bathroom (they're ancient, seriously). I've watched a couple YouTube vids and it seems doable, but I'm also kinda worried I'll mess something up and flood the place, you know? Has anyone here tackled faucet replacements themselves, or is it better to just bite the bullet and hire a plumber? Curious what you all think.

Honestly, faucet replacements aren't too tricky if you're careful and patient. Did both bathrooms in my house last year, saved a good chunk of cash. Just make sure you shut off the water valves completely and have towels handyβbecause yeah, some dripping is inevitable. But flooding the place? Nah, you'd seriously have to mess up big-time for that to happen. Give it a shot; worst case scenario, you end up calling the plumber anyway.
I dunno, I thought the same thing and ended up with a mini water show under my sink... wasn't exactly a flood, but enough to make me reconsider DIY plumbing. If you're confident though, might as well tryβjust have a plumber's number handy.
