I swapped out my showerhead about six months ago, and honestly, it surprised me how noticeable the difference was. Before, I'd step out after a long shower and the bathroom would be all steamed up—mirror completely fogged. After installing a low-flow head, it's way less steamy, and my water bill dropped noticeably too. Haven't tried faucet aerators yet, but seeing your comments makes me think I probably should... might be a good weekend project.

Interesting about the steam reduction—never really thought about that angle before. Did you notice any difference in water pressure or how long it takes to rinse shampoo out? I've been curious if faucet aerators would have a similar noticeable effect on daily use. Are they tricky to install or pretty straightforward? Might have to give it a shot myself one weekend...

Faucet aerators are dead simple—usually just screw on by hand. Might need pliers if your old one's stuck. Pressure stays decent, but rinsing shampoo with low-flow heads can take a bit longer... depends on your patience level.

Yeah, faucet aerators are pretty much foolproof, even for someone like me who once spent half a Saturday figuring out how to hang curtain rods. Shower heads aren't exactly rocket science either, but there's a bit more fiddling involved—tape, washers, and all that jazz. Honestly though, the shampoo rinsing issue is real. I tried a low-flow shower head once and felt like I aged 10 years waiting to get the conditioner out. Aerators are definitely the easier win, IMO.

Totally agree on faucet aerators being the easier win—quick install, minimal hassle. But honestly, the shampoo rinsing thing with low-flow shower heads isn't always that bad. I've found it really depends on the design. Some newer models use air injection technology, giving you decent pressure even with less water. Yeah, they're a bit pricier, but if you're serious about saving water (and your sanity), they're worth checking out. Aerators are great for a quick fix, but long-term savings might lean towards the right shower head.
