Help, my basement drain's backing up again...

Yeah, tell me about it. Just bought my first house last year, and already had two backups. Hydro jetting cleared things up for now, but I'm worried it's just a band-aid fix. Anyone here tried pipe lining? Curious if it's worth the extra cost compared to just biting the bullet and replacing the pipes altogether.

Pipe lining can be solid, but honestly, if your pipes are older or badly damaged, it might just delay the inevitable. Had mine lined two years ago - still ended up replacing sections later. Sometimes biting the bullet early saves headaches down the road...
