Had a bit of a panic moment yesterday when my shower started leaking water everywhere...grabbed some plumber's tape and wrapped it around the showerhead threads. Worked like magic, but I'm curious if anyone has other quick fixes or hacks they've tried?

Plumber's tape is a lifesaver, but I've also had luck with silicone sealant in a pinch. Just smear a thin layer around the threads, screw it back on, and let it dry for a bit. Messy but effective. Also, pro tip: keep a bucket handy under the sinkβnothing says "experienced homeowner" like a dedicated leak-catching bucket...ask me how I know.
