"ventilation is key during application"

Definitely agree on this. I learned the hard way—thought eco-friendly meant no fumes, but there's still some odor and moisture to deal with. Also, good call on magnetic stud finders. Those digital ones drove me nuts too, beeping at phantom studs everywhere. Glad I'm not alone in that frustration... Sounds like your bathroom reno turned out solid overall, nice job getting it dialed in!

Good points about ventilation, but honestly, I've found digital stud finders pretty reliable once you get the hang of them. The trick is moving them slowly and recalibrating often—magnetic ones sometimes miss metal-free studs, which can be a headache. Also, eco-friendly paints vary a lot; some brands barely have any odor at all. Did you try different brands? Might be worth experimenting next time... Glad your reno turned out well though, bathrooms can be tricky.

I've had mixed luck with digital stud finders myself—sometimes they're spot-on, other times they lead me astray. Agree that recalibrating helps. As for eco paints, tried a few brands and found some still had a lingering smell, others were practically odorless. Definitely pays to test samples first...

Digital stud finders are hit or miss for me too. I usually end up tapping the wall and trusting my ears more than the gadget—old habits die hard, I guess. As for eco paints, I've had clients swear by them, but honestly, some still smell funky to me. Had one job where the homeowner insisted on a certain brand claiming zero odor... spent half the day airing out the bathroom anyway. Testing samples definitely saves headaches later.

Totally relate to the stud finder frustration—I've tried a bunch, and honestly, tapping still wins most of the time. About eco paints, you're spot on with testing samples first. Had a similar experience where the paint was labeled "odorless," but it definitely wasn't. Ended up running fans and opening windows for hours. Good call on airing things out early; saves everyone from headaches (literally). Glad your reno turned out well in the end, sounds like you nailed it despite the hiccups.
